Step into the serene beauty of 'Misty Sidmouth Glow', a watercolour painting that captures the tranquil charm of my favourite view from Sidmouth towards Ladram Bay.
A gentle mist softens the features of the distant cliffs, lending an ethereal quality to the scene. These cliffs form part of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its red sandstone formations, which date back between 200 - 250 million years. In the distance, the striking sea stacks near Ladram Bay stand as natural sculptures, shaped by millennia of erosion. As dusk approaches, subtle clouds drift across the sky, and a soft light emanates from the horizon, creating a harmonious interplay of shadow and glow. This artwork reflects my deep appreciation for observing and capturing the atmospheric light and natural beauty of the Devon coastline.
